Juryopleiding standard & latin module 2
Het is onmogelijk om competente juryleden te maken door opleiding alleen. Goede juryleden ontwikkelen zich in de loop van de jaren en groeien naarmate ze meer ervaring opdoen. Jurylid word je niet in één dag. Een actieve betrokkenheid als coach/docent/danser met de bijhorende kennis en een geoefend oog als jurylid zijn de belangrijkste factoren om een goed jurylid te worden. Deze cursus werd ontwikkeld door Danssport Vlaanderen en geeft u een beeld van de visie omtrent wedstrijden die plaatsvinden in het wedstrijdkader van Danssport Vlaanderen, FWBDS en BDSF, rekening houdend met een overstap naar het internationale circuit van WDSF. Deze training werd opgezet met als doel uniformiteit te bekomen in het jureren van de verschillende criteria en "gerichter te leren kijken" tijdens het jureren.
It is impossible to make competent judges through training alone. Good judges develop over time and grow as they gain experience. You do not become a jury member in one day. An active involvement as a coach/teacher/dancer with the associated knowledge and a trained eye as a jury member are the most important factors to become a good jury member. This course was developed by Danssport Vlaanderen and gives you an idea of the vision on competitions that take place within the competition framework of Danssport Vlaanderen, FWBDS and BDSF, taking into account a move to the international circuit of WDSF. This training was set up with the aim of obtaining uniformity in judging the different criteria and "learning to look more focused" during judging.

Voor wie?
Deze cursussen zijn voor iedereen. Als u geïnteresseerd bent in de meest gedetailleerde technische aspecten van Latin en Standaard figuren, zullen deze trainingen u helpen om de technische boeken van de WDSF te leren lezen en een nog beter inzicht te krijgen in wat een jurylid zoekt in een wedstrijd. Een beter inzicht in de gedragscode van een jurylid zal u toelaten de hoedanigheden van juryleden beter te begrijpen. Het Absolute Judging System zal u helpen een helderdere blik te krijgen om paren op de dansvloer te analyseren. Deze training is ook in het bijzonder bedoeld voor die kandidaten die zich willen kwalificeren om in de toekomst Nationaal en Internationaal Adjudicator te worden.
Zodra je je specifieke leerrichting hebt voltooid, of het nu Trainer A & B in Internationaal of Nationaal competitief niveau of Instructeur B is, kun je deze opleidingen gebruiken om een Jurylid te worden. Na het volgen van de beschikbare modulecursussen, raden wij u aan om onze officiële examens af te leggen. U zult uw kennis van Latin en Standaard dansen, Scrutineering, Adjudicators Gedragscode en het Absolute Judging System ontwikkelen. Als je je eerst hebt gekwalificeerd en je op het hoogste nationale niveau in België hebt gedanst in de categorie Adult of Senior, zal het slagen voor het examen deuren openen naar een nieuwe wereld in het jureren.
These courses are for Everyone. If your interested in the most detailed technical aspect of Latin and Standard figures, these courses will help you learn to read the WDSF technical books and have a clearer understanding of what an adjudicator is looking for in any competition event. Having a better understanding of the Code of Conduct of an adjudicator, will allow you to better understand the quality of judges. The Absolute Judging System will help you understand a clearer way of analyzing couples on the dance floor. This course is specifically structured also, for those candidates that have qualified specifically to become National and International Adjudicators in the future. Once you have completed your specific learning direction, whether it be Trainer A & B in International or National competitive level or Instructor B, you can use these courses to becoming an Adjudicator. After completing the Module Courses that are available, we recommend you to take our in person exams that we offer. You will advance your knowledge of Latin and Standard dances, Scrutineering, Adjudicators Code of Conduct and the Absolute Judging System. If you qualify with your prerequisite courses and have danced in the highest national level in Belgium as an Adult or Senior category, your passing exams will open doors for a new world in adjudicating.

Verloop en examenmomenten
Er zullen 2 examenmomenten per jaar zijn (juni en december) en de drills zijn max. 6 maanden ter beschikking (afhankelijk van de datum van de aankoop), maar de syllabus voor iedere module blijft beschikbaar.
Herexamen is in de prijs opgenomen. Kandidaat-juryleden moeten minstens 2 wedstrijden schaduwjureren (inclusief). Een supervisor kan beslissen of een extra oefensessie nodig is voor het behalen van het diploma.
Ervaren juryleden hebben ook de mogelijkheid een module aan te schaffen als opfriscursus. U bent niet verplicht tot het afleggen van een examen, maar wij moedigen u aan om uzelf te testen met een examen, als u daarvoor kiest.
Progress and examination times:
There will be 2 exam opportunities per year (June and December) and the drills will be available for a maximum of 6 months (depending on the date of purchase), but the syllabus for each module remains available.
Re-examination is included in the price. Candidate judges must shadow at least 2 competitions (included). A supervisor may decide if an extra practice session is necessary for the diploma.
Established judges can also purchase a module as a refresher course. You are not required to take an exam, but we would encourage you to test yourself with an exam, if you choose to.
